Last weekend we had the great pleasure of designing wedding flowers in Monaco, Monte-Carlo. We were overwhelmed by the enchanting Hôtel de Paris situated on Casino Square. This is by far the furthest the Planet team has travelled for a destination wedding and one of the most exciting experiences we have had in our history of wedding flower design.
A unique aspect of this destination wedding was that although the reception took place in the most amazing classic, decadent room, the bride did not want the overall design of the wedding to be too traditional. We chose to use only two very classic flower types but to use them in a very contemporary shape, giving a contemporary take on a classic look. We added touches of mocha to match in with the colouring on the base plates cake and stationery, giving an overall opulent warm feel.
